Job Title: Social Worker – Children Looked After and Care Leavers
Location: Conwy
Pay Rate: £ 41/per hour
Contract: 6 months
Liquid Personnel is seeking an experienced Children’s Social Worker to join our client in North Wales. The successful candidate will deliver a high-quality service to children looked after by the Local Authority, their families, or connected persons under care orders, and to young people leaving care. The ideal candidate will provide support to develop resilience and independence, ensuring that children and their carers/families are at the centre of decision-making about their lives and the outcomes they want to achieve, without compromising the child’s safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to children, families, and connected persons under care orders
- Assist young people leaving care in developing resilience and independence
- Ensure child-centred decision-making processes
- Manage a diverse and complex caseload effectively
- Maintain a strong focus on safeguarding and child protection
- Collaborate with other professionals to achieve the best outcomes for children
Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker with relevant experience
- Strong understanding of child protection and safeguarding
- Ability to manage a diverse and complex caseload
- Excellent communication and decision-making skills
- Commitment to child-centred practice
