Senior Claims Manager – Motor

A bit about the job:
You’ll manage a team of around 15 technical claims professionals handling high value and complex motor injury claims. Your role will be to drive performance, manage indemnity spend, and ensure excellent customer outcomes. You’ll work closely with colleagues across underwriting, actuarial, and legal to influence strategy and improve our personal and commercial motor end to end systems. This is a key leadership role within our Major & Complex Claims (MCC) team, where you’ll help shape the future of motor claims at Aviva.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Strong leadership experience in managing technical claims teams.
- Deep knowledge of UK motor injury claims and the wider insurance market.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- A relevant professional qualification (e.g. ACII) or equivalent experience.
- A strategic thinker with a track record of driving innovation and system improvements.
