A bit about the job:
This role exists to support and develop our Home Claims Technical Consultants and wider claims teams across the UK. You’ll be part of the Home Technical Team (within Major & Complex Claims (MCC)), helping to resolve complex home insurance claims and improve technical capability. You’ll coach others, write best practice guidance, and lead technical improvements that enhance customer outcomes and cost performance. Your work will directly influence how we deliver excellence in home claims.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Experience managing complex or high-value home claims.
- Strong technical knowledge of insurance principles, buildings processes, loss adjusting, scoping, fraud, and recoveries.
- Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop others.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- CILA qualification or equivalent technical experience (desirable).
