Job Title: Business Development Consultant (Part-Time)
Location: East & West Sussex (Hybrid – Field and Office-Based)
Working Pattern: 3 Days per Week (2 Days Field, 1 Day Office-Based)
Reports to: Manager or Director
Salary: Competitive, based on experience + travel expenses
About the Role:
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Business Development Consultant to join our team on a part-time basis. You will play a key role in expanding our client base across East and West Sussex by building strong relationships and promoting our services. This role offers a blend of fieldwork and office-based responsibilities, ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy and variety.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Engagement & Sales (2 Days per Week – Hybrid/Field):
- Identify, visit, and build relationships with potential clients across East and West Sussex
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, and service consultations to secure new business
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to identify further opportunities
- Represent the company professionally and act as a key ambassador in the field
Sales Administration & Office Support (1 Day per Week – Office-Based):
- Complete and submit contracts and service agreements accurately and efficiently
- Update CRM and sales tracking tools with client interactions and pipeline progress
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery
- Prepare sales reports and share updates with the leadership team
Requirements:
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Self-motivated, proactive, and confident working independently
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car (travel reimbursed)
- Comfortable using CRM software and Microsoft Office tools
