As a Highly Specialised Cardiac Physiologist in Echocardiography, you’ll be at the heart of delivering exceptional cardiac care at Bupa Cromwell Hospital. You’ll use your advanced clinical expertise to perform and interpret complex echocardiographic investigations, helping to diagnose and manage life-changing cardiac conditions. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team, you’ll ensure our patients receive the highest standard of care, compassion, and clinical excellence.

How you’ll help us make health happen
- Perform a wide range of advanced echocardiographic procedures including adult transthoracic, contrast, bubble study, 3D, and dobutamine stress echocardiograms
- Assist with transoesophageal echocardiograms and independently issue final diagnostic reports
- Support non-invasive diagnostics such as ECGs, Holter/BP monitoring, and treadmill testing
- Supervise and train junior staff and trainees
- Contribute to service development, audit, and quality assurance
- Collaborate with consultants, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver seamless patient care
Key Skills / Qualifications
Essential:
- BSc (Hons) in Clinical Cardiac Physiology or equivalent
- TTE Level 2 accreditation (BSE) or EACVI certification
- Immediate Life Support (ILS) certification
- Significant post-qualification experience in echocardiography
- Ability to independently perform and report on a wide range of echocardiographic procedures
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
Desirable:
- Stress Echo accreditation (BSE)
- MSc or STP equivalence in Cardiac Imaging
- Experience in audit, research, and clinical equipment trials
- Advanced IT and data management skills
