Job Title: Social Worker – Looked After Children
Location: Middlesbrough
Pay Rate: £36.26 per hour
Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for a Social Worker to join a Looked After Children Team based in Middlesbrough.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Undertaking statutory home visits within timescales
- Excellent recording and timekeeping skills
- Experience and be highly skilled in undertaking direct work with children
- Expected to have good knowledge and understanding of the Child Looked After processes
- Prepare reports for and attend Child Looked After reviews, hold monthly Care Team meetings, and record them in a timely manner
- Attend strategy meetings, stability meetings and be confident.
Qualifications and Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a qualification in Social Work at degree level, and have post-qualified experience.
