Role Overview
The New Business Broker Sales team acquires new members, manages the sales pipeline, and maintains broker relationships, mainly via phone or email. The role involves resolving complex queries, collaborating for improvements, updating brokers on sales processes, and ensuring smooth onboarding.
Additionally, the team is responsible for supporting training sessions and continuous development opportunities for brokers to enhance their skills and knowledge of Bupa Global’s products and services. You will handle Bupa Global memberships, identify customer needs through brokers, secure new memberships, and meet performance targets. This includes preparing quotes and providing tailored information about Bupa Global’s Proposition to client requirements, conducting regular follow-ups to ensure client satisfaction, and analysing market trends to identify potential growth areas. Accurate call recording ensures quality member records and aids in optimizing sales strategies. You will also participate in regular team meetings to discuss progress, share insights, and develop strategies to achieve the team's objectives.
What you’ll do:
• Drive new business growth by actively managing your portfolio through
strategic pricing and exceptional customer experience.
• Utilize your sales and negotiation skills to identify and meet potential
members' needs, leveraging effective outbound and inbound contacts.
• Strive to achieve specified targets and quality standards, delivering an
outstanding experience for all new business engagements.
• Assume full responsibility for all new client interactions, including
providing quotations and addressing inquiries.
• Maintain and accurately update all CRM systems, ensuring high-quality
information throughout.
• Adhere to UK regulatory requirements and any applicable local
regulations.
• Effectively manage personal time concerning performance objectives.
• Ensure Bupa Global remains competitive by securing and maintaining
comprehensive knowledge of competitor offerings.
• Identify areas for personal growth and actively participate in training
provided by the company.
• Be a champion for change and consistently demonstrate a positive
attitude towards colleagues and tasks.
• Work closely with the Business Development Manager to meet and
surpass regional sales targets, sharing regional insights with the team.
• Proactively educate and develop clients on products and procedures
through clear communication, identifying training needs and solutions.
What you’ll bring:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent listening and questioning skills to ensure all member
information is identified.
• Ability to advise and influence- listens and considers information
leading to the application of sound business advice.
• Decision making ability.
• Self-motivated and target driven, with excellent planning and
organisational skills.
• To have a good geographical knowledge and appreciation of differing
time zones.
• Proven sales record and strong customer service skills.
• Ideally to have some experience of the Healthcare market.
• Constructively reviews and analyses own performance in order to
develop potential.
