SME Broker Development Specialist

A bit about the job:
This role sits at the heart of our SME Group Protection growth strategy. You’ll be supporting and growing broker relationships, helping advisers see the value of our offering, and driving new business opportunities. Working closely with account managers and sales leaders brokers in your designated panel, you’ll use warm leads and proactive outreach to grow engagement and build trust. Your success will help ensure we deliver on our promises and support the financial wellbeing of more businesses and their people.
Skills and experience we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in broker relationship management, sales, or intermediary support. Telephone skills, ability to communicate effectively over the phone, Enthusiastic, willing to learn and adapt to Aviva’s SME broker strategy
- Ability to negotiate effectively and spot opportunities to maximise value
- Confident presenting to a range of audiences, both virtually and over the phone.
- A solid understanding of online sales journeys and digital engagement tools
- Confidence delivering sales pitches, both on the phone and in virtual presentations.

- Starting salary £30.000-£40.000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
