Job Title: Social Worker – Duty and Assessment
Location: Bradford
Pay Rate: £35 per hour
Job Description:
Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for a Social Worker to join our client’s Duty and Assessment Team based in Bradford. This is a frontline role where the successful candidate will be responsible for conducting initial assessments, responding to referrals, and ensuring timely and effective safeguarding interventions for children and families.
What will your responsibilities be?
- Respond to new referrals and complete initial assessments
- Make informed decisions regarding thresholds and next steps
- Work closely with families and multi-agency professionals to assess risk and need
- Ensure timely safeguarding actions and appropriate service planning
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records

Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have,
- Social Work England registration
- Degree in Social Work or equivalent
- Right to work in the UK
- Full UK driving licence
- Post-qualified experience in duty and assessment, safeguarding, or statutory children’s services
