Our purpose build endoscopy houses the latest technology including video endoscopy. We provide a range of upper and lower therapeutic and investigative procedures for our patients to include Argon Beam Therapy, Bronchoscopy, Capsule Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, Cystoscopy, and more. We are now looking for a Senior Staff Nurse to join our professional team.
Role Overview:
As a Bank Nurse you’ll be working as part of a close-knit highly experienced team within our purpose built Endoscopy Suite with the latest facilities including video endoscopy. We provide upper and lower GI investigative and therapeutic procedures for our inpatients and outpatient patients, and also carry out bowl cancer screening.
What you’ll do
- You’ll be a caring and compassionate nurse who will ensure delivering a high standard of care to our patients.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team and be responsible for the care the team delivers
- Participate in the delivery of a consistent, safe service in all aspects of the patient journey whilst demonstrating a culture of customer service
- Liaise with the Support Services to ensure all non-clinical needs are met including the cultural, sexual, religious, and any other special needs of the patients
- Recognise the needs for DOL’s assessments, mental capacity assessment and ‘simple’ and ‘complex’ safeguarding referrals and highlight any concerns
What you’ll bring?
- Adult Registered Nurse (NMC Pin)
- Medical Nursing - ENDOSCOPY
- Knowledge of NMC Codes and guidelines and their implications for practice.
