Job Title: Senior Social Worker – Infant Safeguarding

Job Description
Liquid Personnel is seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Social Worker to join its client’s Infant Safeguarding Team based inBlackpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled practitioner who is committed to improving the lives of vulnerable children and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake pre-birth assessments, child protection investigations, and manage complex Child in Need and PLO/Pre-Proceedings cases.
- Produce high-quality assessments, court statements, and reports.
- Provide mentoring and coaching to less experienced team members.
- Support the Team Manager in driving performance and quality improvement.
- Act as a role model, promoting reflective practice and continuous learning.
- Lead by example in delivering child-centred, strengths-based social work.
What we’re looking for:
- Social Work England registration
- Degree in Social Work or equivalent
- Post-qualified experience in statutory children’s services
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, pre-birth work, and court processes
- A full UK driving licence
- A commitment to professional development and team collaboration
