Occupational Health AdvisorAs the Occupational Health Advisor, you will provide a high-quality, evidence-based Occupational Health service, with a particular focus on fitness-for-work assessments. Competitive salary: £37,338 - £44,962 DOEGenerous annual leave entitlement: Standard 25 days + 8 bank holidays, increasing with service up to 33 days + 8 bank holidays. Pro Rata/ Per AnnumWhat your typical day looks like:Conduct safety-critical and driver medicals (e.g., Group 2, PCV/LGV), and night worker medicals, in line with DVLA and organisational policy.Undertake pre-placement health assessments and assess fitness for work.Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in accordance with GDPR, NMC standards, and service policies.Provide independent, evidence-based fitness-for-work advice following management referrals.Recommend reasonable adjustments, phased returns, and rehabilitation support.Contribute to ill-health retirement and redeployment processes when requiredSupport the review and development of OH procedures and service protocols.Participate in clinical audit and quality improvement initiatives.Contribute to workplace wellbeing and health promotion activities.Maintain professional registration with the NMC.Keep up to date with developments in occupational health practice and legislation.To be a successful Occupational Health Advisor, you will need:Registered Nurse (NMC)Occupational Health Diploma or Degree with at least 5 years post-qualification experienceOccupational Health or case management experienceKnowledge of occupational health and H&S legislationStrong communication and report-writing skillsIT literate and confident using electronic systemsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamEmployee benefits:As part of our team at DHU Healthcare, we believe in rewarding you, our colleague, for your hard work and dedication to providing the very best in patient care.
