This role is in support of Cencora's wholesale distribution services in Europe operating through our Alliance Healthcare business.
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join our outbound team in Hinckley. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining our high operational standards by accurately picking and packing orders in a fast-paced warehouse environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the correct handling and assembly of items, contributing to our commitment to exceptional service and efficiency.
Location: Hinckley
Rate of Pay: £12.40 per hour plus benefits
Hours: 7 hours, 7am-2pm, Sunday Only
Type of Contract: Circa 9 month fixed term contract
Responsibilities
Accurately assemble items from pick documentation, ensuring the correct quantity is picked.
Handle items with care to avoid damage; report any damages to the line team leader.
Immediately report any picking errors or visible issues in the warehouse to the line team leader.
Ensure hospital and special check orders are assembled accurately and verified.
Follow specific guidelines for picking medical bulk, fridge, and secure area orders, as covered in training.
Promptly respond to any errors or unusual quantities during the picking process.
Maintain awareness of health and safety procedures at all times.
Keep the warehouse area clean, tidy, and free from rubbish.
