Job Description:
Liquid Personnel is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to join it client’s Adult Social Care leadership team as Deputy Head of Service and Principal Therapy Lead based in Hackney. This is a pivotal role, responsible for driving operational excellence, championing Occupational Therapy, and delivering high-quality, person-centred services across the borough.
What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will,
- Lead OT, Sensory, Telecare, and Adaptations services
- Ensure safe, personalised, and strength-based care delivery
- Manage budgets and contribute to strategic savings plans
- Build collaborative relationships across the Council, ICS, and voluntary sector
- Drive service improvement, innovation, and performance
- Represent the service in strategic forums and inspections
Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have,
- HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist with senior leadership experience
- Proven track record in adult social care and multidisciplinary settings
- Strong understanding of commissioning, performance management, and budget control
- Passion for service transformation and equity in care delivery
- Experience in managing complex projects and leading diverse teams
