Location: Glenholme Thimbleby Court, Horncastle LN9 5RA
Pay Rate: £12.30 per hour
As a Kitchen Assistant at Glenholme Thimbleby Court, you will play a key role in supporting our Chef with all delegated kitchen duties. You’ll help maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
Keep all areas of the kitchen clean and tidy at all times.
Wash and sanitise all kitchen equipment thoroughly.
Ensure the best economic use of all food and materials provided.
Report any defects, damages, or breakages promptly to the Chef or Assistant Cook.
Assist with day-to-day kitchen operations, including preparing vegetables, sandwiches, and light meals.
Clean the kitchen and ancillary rooms thoroughly according to the cleaning schedule.
Support colleagues in other areas of the home when required.
Maintain a clean, ironed, and professional uniform at all times.
