The Opportunity:
An exciting opportunity has become available to join our team in the beautiful Levels Café and Lounge based at Holyrood Road. Levels has been designed to provide both a high speed “Grab and Go Food” style of service as well as a self-service operation with both snacking and an extensive range of fast casual dining, salad bars and speciality hot beverages.
Whilst Levels Cafe is not a full restaurant waiter style operation, it’s design provides for a number of different seating zones, designed in consideration of a very diverse customer market from students, staff, public, visitors, and a wide variety of other possible customers attending events, teaching and evening classes in the adjacent “Outreach Centre”.
As a Barista / Café Assistant you will assist in the preparation and service of food and beverages for the outlet. You will currently be working in a hospitality position within a similar café / hotel / restaurant environment and be looking for your next step into a very demanding but rewarding position. Able to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers alike, you will have excellent organisational and planning skills. You will take pride in maintaining high standards and be able to demonstrate the ability to go the extra mile to enhance the customer’s experience and exceed expectations.
