Home Instead is recruiting for Care Assistants across East Fife.

Working Mondays to Fridays =  Part-time / Full-time. 

Area's we cover and would require you to cover would be : Leven, Largo, Elie, St Andrews, East Neuk, Kirkcaldy and Glenrothes.

Job Description

Only Driver positions are currently available - Must have license and own car

Must have the Right to work in the UK!

What are the Responsibilities:

  • Minimum 1-hour visits
  • Introductions to all new clients
  • Visiting the same Clients for continuity of care and to allow you to build up a meaningful relationship
  • Companionship - ensuring a client enjoys regular and meaningful social interaction is an important part of your visit
  • Help with everyday tasks such as; meal preparation and light housework
  • Accompanying to appointments or shopping
  • Personal Care - Supporting our clients with the essentials such as bathing, showering, dressing and grooming to keep them healthy and independent.

Qualifications

You do not need any experience or particular qualifications to become a Care Assistant as full training is given. However, it would be useful to have some experience of working in a care setting or interacting with older people. This could be personal experience of caring for a family member or voluntary experience.
