We have several permanent vacancies and a temporary vacancy to join our teams all working various hours per day as required between 11:00am to 2:00pm, Monday to Friday. 

PRIMARY SCHOOLS 

Dunfermline 

  • Masterton Primary School – 1 post x 10 hours per week (2 hours per day as required between 11:30am to 2:00pm), 38-week contract. 

Cowdenbeath 

  • Foulford Primary School – 1 post x 10 hours per week (2 hours per day as required between 11:30am to 2:00pm), 38-week contract.  

  • Starfish Nursery (St Brides RC Primary School) – 1 post x 15hours per week (3 hours per day as required on a split shift -10:00am to 11:30am and 1:00pm to 2:30pm), 38-week contract.  

Crossford 

  • Cossford Primary School – 1 post x 10 hours per week (2 hours per day as required between 11:30am to 2:00pm), 38-week contract. This post is temporary for 1 year 

HIGH SCHOOLS 

Dunfermline 

  • Queen Anne High School – 1 post 1 x 10 hours per week (2 hours per day as required between 10:00am to 2:00pm), 38-week contract. 

Cowdenbeath 

  • Beath High School – 1 post x 10 hours per week (2 hours per day as required between 10:00am to 2:00pm), 38-week contract. 

You will earn a competitive salary of £24,740.74 pro-rata and have access to a range of benefits, including: 

  • We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of £13.18 per hour for this post. plus extra payments for shift work, including weekends. 

  • Pay is annualised (equal instalments every 4 week pay period).

  • Travel expenses will be paid – we pay 45 pence per mile to staff using their own car in mobile posts.

This work is about providing customer service, ensuring pupils and staff receive hot or cold meals every school day. You will go home each day knowing you have made a difference whether its Breakfast Club, Morning Break or Lunch you have served. On the job training is given working towards a Food Hygiene Certificate. 

The Person 

No specific qualification is required for this post as full training will be given. 

Before confirming your appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme. 

  

You will be required to attend an Induction Training Day before starting in post.
