SHIFT PATTERN: Monday to Saturday, 12:00 to 14:00
PAY RATE: £13.85 per hour

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
• Clean and disinfect all patient areas including consultation rooms, treatment rooms, waiting areas, and restrooms to meet strict hygiene standards.
• Ensure all high-touch surfaces (e.g., door handles, light switches, chairs, counters) are regularly sanitized throughout the shift.
• Empty and replace waste bins, following infection control protocols.
• Replenish supplies such as soap, hand sanitiser, paper towels, and toilet paper in all designated areas.
• Clean and mop floors using appropriate disinfectants, ensuring safety and cleanliness.
• Maintain stock levels of cleaning materials and report low supplies to the supervisor.
• Follow colour-coded cleaning systems to prevent cross-contamination.
• Use appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times and follow Health & Safety guidelines.
• Report any maintenance issues or hazards immediately to the site supervisor or clinic manager.
• Ensure cleaning equipment is used correctly, cleaned after use, and stored safely.
• Assist with deep cleaning tasks as scheduled or requested.
• Maintain a professional and respectful attitude when working around patients, staff, and visitors.
• Attend mandatory training sessions on infection control, Health & Safety, and clinic procedures.
Person Specification:
• High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Ability to follow strict hygiene and infection control protocols.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a respectful approach to working in a healthcare setting.
• Physically fit and able to carry out cleaning duties including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
• Previous experience in cleaning, preferably in a healthcare or clinical environment, is desirable.
• Willingness to undertake training and adapt to changing procedures.
Essential Requirements:
• Provide a 5-year checkable reference history.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to wear PPE and follow all clinic safety protocols.
• Basic understanding of English for safety and communication purposes
