Make a Real Impact as a Communication Support Worker.

Are you a passionate Communication Support Worker (CSW), making a difference in the lives of students with Special Educational Needs? We are looking for an experienced and dedicated CSW with a proven track record in facilitating effective communication in a learning environment. You’ll work closely with tutors to provide 1:1 or small group support in English, Maths and Communication Skills tuition. These in-person sessions in West London offer the chance to work closely with students, helping them build skills and confidence in a supportive and tailored learning environment.

  • Hour(s): 25 hours per week
  • Day(s) and Time(s): Monday - Friday / During school hours
  • Start date: Beginning of September 2025
  • Rate of pay: £17.50 - £30 p/h

What You'll Do

  • Providing BSL interpretation during a tuition session
  • Working alongside a tutor and providing support throughout the tuition programme
  • Regularly reporting updates to the Tuition Programmes Manager
  • Creating a positive and supportive environment
  • Assessing any barriers to student’s learning and working to overcome these

We're looking for someone who has:

  • A level 3 British Sign Language Qualification
  • Experience with Sign Supported English (SSE)
  • 1+ years of BSL Interpretation experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The right to be self employed in the UK
