Salary: £12.21 per hour
Hours: 35 hours per week, over five days, term time
Contract: Permanent. Required as soon as possible

Your role
Foxglove Nurseries are mixed age (2 to 4 years) nurseries with approximately 30 children per session.
This is a key person role. We have an emphasis on learning through play, child led investigations and encourage lots of outside exploration.
You will be part of a reflective team who are committed to ongoing personal development and training.
Your responsibilities
Developing strong bonds with the children and their families.
Completing individual observations, assessments and planning for our children, in line with the EYFS.
Taking part in parent’s meetings and creating strong parent partnerships to support the children and families
Working as part of the team to discuss the needs of all children, identify individual needs and promote best practice.
Attending staff meetings and training for personal and professional development.
Being ready, willing and positive in taking part in all areas of learning and development to ensure the children are given the best possible start in their Early Years.
You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:
Preferably a Level 3 in childcare or equivalent. Level 2 with experience will be considered.
Experience of working with young children.
Knowledge of the legal requirements and guidance on health and safety, safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children in Early Years.
Knowledge of Ofsted standards
Excellent knowledge of the revised EYFS
Good organisational, time management and communication skills
