We are currently seeking a Finance Administrator to work within the University’s Finance team, contributing to the smooth running of the sales ledgers and credit control processes with a particular focus on student finance for our online students.
 
Within this role the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the student finance sales ledger together with carrying out credit control procedures, alongside performing other sales related reconciliations and tasks on a rota-basis. They will need to provide administrative support in relation to completing funding paperwork from various funding streams.
 
Our finance team is established with around twenty team members, this varied role offers a great opportunity to join a close knit, skilled team in an excellent working environment.

About You

The ideal candidate for this role will be accurate, conscientious, efficient, hard-working, and able to manage their own workload, while also working alongside colleagues within the team in a collaborative manner. As well as these core qualities, you’ll have excellent IT skills; specifically MS Excel as well as excellent numeracy and communication skills.
 
You will have the ability to tailor verbal and written communications to ensure that information is understood by all parties, as most of our communication to our online students, is carried out via email.
 
We are looking to hear from candidates who have the following skills/experience:
 
  • Previous experience of working within a finance environment and working with a wide range of people in a customer facing role.
  • Excellent IT skills specifically MS Excel, numeracy skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills. 
  • Administration experience.

This is a permanent, full time, 35 hours a week position across Monday-Friday.
 
We can offer a hybrid working arrangement for this role with a mix of on-campus/home working each week with a minimum of three days a week to be on-campus based in Falmouth.
