Your role
We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and experienced Teaching Assistant who would take on or work towards a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) responsibilities, to join our supportive and dynamic team. You will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school, taking responsibility for delivering high-quality lessons and interventions under the guidance of class teachers.
Your responsibilities:
plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the curriculum, taking full responsibility for small groups or whole classes as required
support students’ learning and development, including those with SEND
assist in assessing, recording and reporting students progress
manage classroom behaviour effectively and promote a positive, inclusive learning environment.
You will need:
HLTA accreditation or Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification (or willingness to work towards this qualification)
experience of working with children in a school setting, preferably across multiple jey stages
strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
ability to work independently and as part of a team
commitment to high standards of safeguarding, inclusion, and child development.
