Contract: Permanent. Required as soon as possible
Required as soon as possible, a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to teach across the school during staff planning, preparation and assessment (PPA) time and periods of short-term absence. When whole class cover is not required, you will provide support to raise standards of achievement for all pupils by working in class, with individuals or groups of pupils.
You will:
have the Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification or equivalent experience and suitable qualifications in English and Mathematics
be experienced in working in a primary school setting
have regularly delivered whole class or group teaching, both from own and school planning
be confident in positive classroom management
have a good understanding of how children learn and can be flexible and able to adapt to the needs of the children
be able to model excellent communication and liaise closely with teachers and other staff.
have good literacy, numeracy and ICT skills.
