We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Administrator to join our Manufacturing Business Unit. Supporting the HR Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth delivery of HR administration and recruitment activities, providing an excellent service to employees, managers, and candidates.
What You'll Be Doing
General Administration
• Maintaining accurate employee records in line with GDPR and company policies.
• Supporting employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding, contract amendments and leavers.
• Updating employee information within HR systems and personnel files.
• Preparing employment contracts, offer letters and HR correspondence.
• Producing HR reports and maintaining employee data.
• Responding to employee queries regarding company policies and procedures.
• Monitoring annual leave, sickness absence and other employee leave records.
• Coordinating Occupational Health referrals and review appointments.
• Managing the HR inbox and ensuring queries are responded to promptly.
• Maintaining accurate right-to-work documentation and compliance records.
Recruitment Administration
• Creating and managing job requisitions within Oracle Recruitment.
• Posting vacancies through Oracle Recruitment and external job boards.
• Monitoring candidate applications and supporting hiring managers through the recruitment process.
• Scheduling interviews and coordinating communication with candidates, managers and agencies.
• Carrying out pre-employment checks, including references and right-to-work verification.
• Issuing offer documentation and supporting the onboarding process for new starters.
• Maintaining accurate recruitment records and candidate data within Oracle.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will:
• Have previous administration experience; HR administration experience would be advantageous.
• Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
• Be able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be confident using Microsoft Office applications and HR systems.
• Demonstrate a professional, confidential and customer-focused approach.
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
