Actual salary £10,006.34 - £10,083.25 (dependant on start date above)
We are looking to appoint a compassionate and nurturing learning support assistant to work flexibly within our year 2 and 3 teams to provide pastoral support and support medical needs.
St Peter’s is a 630-place primary with beautiful buildings set in lovely green surroundings. It is a welcoming inclusive school with a strong Christian ethos and was judged to be ‘Excellent’ in the last SIAMs (church school) inspection in February 2020 and ‘Outstanding’ in our most recent Ofsted inspection in 2023. We have a clear pedagogy, exciting curriculum, and high expectations of all members of our school community. The successful candidate will:
• Be able to build strong and positive relationships with colleagues, children and parents
• Be passionate about making a difference to all children especially those who are vulnerable
• Have some experience in working with children and ideally have experience of working with children who have SEND/SEMH needs
• Be creative, flexible and able to work collaboratively and proactively within a busy team
• Be a reflective practitioner with a strong desire to learn and improve.
• Be keen to undertake training relevant to the role
• Be resilient, positive, patient and compassionate.
• Hold Level 2 qualifications as a minimum.
