Here at Rainbows Children’s Hospice, we provide specialist palliative care and end-of-life support to over 750 Babies, Children, and Young People living with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions, as well as approximately 3,000 people, including families, siblings, and carers, across the East Midlands. Simply put, we’re here to brighten short lives and support families, wherever they are.
We are currently seeking a proactive Maintenance Supervisor to lead our dedicated Facilities Team. In this role you will play a key part in ensuring our hospice remains a safe, fully operational, and well-maintained environment. You’ll oversee both planned and reactive maintenance work and lead a small team of Maintenance Technicians, contractors, and volunteers.
This is a hands-on leadership role that combines supervision, technical knowledge, and people management. Your ability to coordinate work efficiently, identify and resolve issues promptly, and ensure compliance with safety standards will be essential.
Location: Rainbows Hospice, Lark Rise, Loughborough, Leicestershire, LE11 2HS
Hours of work: On a rota pattern of 8:00am – 4:00pm and 9:00am – 5:00pm with an out of hours on-call rota.

Requirements
We are looking for someone with proactive technical and leadership skills, along with a calm, flexible, and problem-solving approach. You should be comfortable leading a small team while also getting involved in hands-on tasks as needed.
