About the Role

At Crown Information Management we specialise in the secure storage, management, and retrieval of company data and records, both physical and digital. Our mission is to keep information safe and accessible, helping businesses meet compliance needs and manage risk efficiently. As part of the team you'll ensure confidential records are collected, stored, and retrieved securely. Your work helps protect data, support business operations, and maintain client trust at every stage.

This role supports the day-to-day operational delivery of Crown’s services, primarily at customer premises, under the direction of operational leadership. Responsibilities include the safe and accurate loading, unloading, movement and storage of boxes and pallets, scanning items to correct locations, completing quality checks and system transactions, and ensuring all work is carried out in line with Crown and customer procedures, agreed service levels and SOPs. The role requires maintaining high standards of accuracy, security and customer service, promptly escalating any discrepancies, damaged items, system issues or service risks, and using initiative to complete tasks with limited supervision while escalating matters beyond authorised responsibility.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide high-quality customer service and represent Crown professionally while working at customer premises.
  • Safely load, unload, move and position boxes and pallets using approved manual-handling methods and equipment.
  • Pick, pack and handle sensitive client documentation accurately and in line with agreed service levels and procedures.
  • Scan boxes accurately to the correct pallet or storage location, ensuring all system movements reflect the physical location.
  • Complete quality checks and transactions within RSS-QL, following documented procedures and escalating discrepancies as required.
  • Identify and promptly report damaged, missing or incorrectly labelled items, system issues, security concerns and any risks to service delivery.

What We’re Looking For

  • Ensure tasks, scanning activity and system updates are completed within timelines, SLAs and KPIs to a high degree of accuracy and professionalism.
  • Good IT literacy and confidence using barcode scanners and operational systems; experience of RSS-QL is desirable, but training may be provided.
  • Have proven exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships with multiple and diverse stakeholders.
  • Minimum 2 years warehouse experience
  • A minimum of GCSE certificated general education
  • High attention to detail when scanning, checking labels and recording box and pallet locations.
