Salary: £33,000 per annum 


Working Hours:9:00am – 5:00pm, with a 30-minute lunch break (Core hours: 10:00am – 3:30pm)

Location: Cannock Town Centre (Office-Based) | Parking Pass Provided

We’re working with a well-established accountancy practice who are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their friendly, close-knit team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous practice experience who enjoys managing a busy and varied payroll portfolio.


As a Payroll Administrator, you’ll be responsible for processing payroll for approximately 130 client companies, ensuring accuracy and compliance at all times. You’ll work within a small team, delivering a professional and efficient service to a diverse client base.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing end-to-end payroll for multiple clients within the practice
  • Ensuring accuracy in calculations, deductions, and statutory payments
  • Handling auto-enrolment, pensions, and HMRC submissions
  • Responding to client queries and providing excellent customer service
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance


About You
  • Must have experience within an accountancy practice 
  • Strong understanding of payroll processes, HMRC regulations, and pensions
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
  • Confident communicator and team player
