The role
To provide administrative support to the Sport Production Team and help facilitate the smooth running of the department output.
Key responsibilities
Supporting Production where required including:
- Liaise with talent and crew on the phone or email
- Manage, update and maintain google docs
- Provide administrative support to your team, such as ordering paper
- Raise purchase orders and raise FreeCon contracts for programmes
- Arrange parking and update security for crew and visitors as and when needed
- Book taxis when required
- Book meeting rooms
- Assist Production Coordinators with various work loads and step up for holiday

- Prepare call sheet templates and help complete sections as advised
- Book catering, medical cover and update booking documents
- Assist with Location shoot bookings, work out catering numbers. Liaise with facility suppliers
- Organise and book travel and hotels for talent and crew including location shoot

- To learn and develop new skills as required to enable you to carry out any tasks which are reasonably requested of you, and for which you have received appropriate informal or formal training; pro-actively finding ways to promote and sustain a multi-skilled approach.
- To ensure the operation makes the best use of available resources within budget ensuring all operations adheres to all relevant ITV guidelines. To understand and act upon ITV’s Health & Safety and Risk Assessment policies.
- To work closely and respectfully with all members of the editorial, production and presenting teams, both locally and in the wider ITV family, to implement the overall editorial strategy, ensuring ITV values are embraced.
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
- Previous experience on live broadcasts as either a runner or production secretary
- An appreciation and passion for sports in keeping with ITV Sport’s high production values and standards
- Excellent time keeping, organisational and administrative skills
- Be able to prioritise and work to deadlines
- First-rate communication skills – dealing with people at all levels
- Friendly and positive can-do attitude to all tasks
- Ability to use own initiative and solve problems quickly
- Able to work under pressure within schedule deadlines
- Adaptable team player
