About The Role:

Shift Pattern: 3 day shifts - 0530 - 1730 then 3 night shifts - 1730 - 0530 followed by 3 days off
 
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Security Officer to join our team at Cambridge Business Park. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for tenants, visitors, and property assets across the business park.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a visible presence.
  • Monitor CCTV systems and access control points.
  • Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, including emergencies and disturbances.
  • Enforce site rules and regulations to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Provide assistance and directions to visitors and staff.
  • Conduct security checks of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter fencing.
  • Write detailed incident and shift reports.
  • Liaise with emergency services when required.
  • Support the delivery of evacuation procedures and drills.
  • Monitor deliveries and contractor access to ensure proper authorisation.
Requirements:
  • Valid SIA Security Guard or Door Supervisor License.
  • Proven experience in a security role (preferably in a commercial or business park setting).
  • Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Basic IT skills for report writing and system monitoring.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Desirable:
  • Experience with access control and alarm systems.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
