The Role:

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Assistant Company Secretary to Join a dynamic team supporting AustralianSuper’s global investment governance. This role is pivotal in managing secretariat and governance functions across investment forums and offshore entities, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and strategic alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage governance and secretariat duties for investment forums and offshore entities.

• Coordinate board meetings, prepare agendas, distribute papers, and take minutes.

• Maintain statutory records, share registers, and regulatory filings (e.g., Companies House).

• Support entity incorporation, wind-ups, and compliance with audit and regulatory requirements.

• Lead delegation monitoring and reporting across investment structures.

• Assist with KYC, governance assessments, and regulatory reporting for investment entities.

• Stay current with legal and regulatory developments in UK, US, and other jurisdictions.

• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and directors.

What You’ll Need:

• In-depth knowledge of Company Secretary duties and relevant legislation.

• Experience supporting investment entities and governance structures.

• Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.

• Chartered Governance Institute/ ICSA membership or the equivalent.

• Understanding of legal, accounting, and tax principles.

• Experience advising on board governance and accountability.

• Hand-on proactive approach with stakeholders
