About the role: Are you an organised, detail-oriented individual with a passion for supporting people and processes? We're looking for a proactive Senior HR Administrator to join our dynamic HR team. In this key role, you'll provide vital administrative support helping to ensure smooth and efficient HR operations. This role is working within the HR Operations Team who sit within the Corserv Support People Function of the Company.  The HR Operations team provide first line HR support across the company’s various business units. The Corserv Support People Function under the leadership of the HR Director, provides company wide strategic HR support.

Role Purpose: Overseeing the Onboarding process for new employees who will be joining the Company and providing administration and project support to the HR Operations Team, the Corserv Support People Function and the HR Director.

 What you'll be doing: 

  • Prepare onboarding documents for new hires.
  • Collect, organize and process documents and information in line with the onboarding process ensuring that standards and policy are adhered to.
  • Gather the required data for new employees from the recruitment process and ensure sensitive and confidential information is processed in accordance with GDPR policies and legislation
  • Answer questions from new hires about their onboarding journey and their terms and conditions of employment, with support from the wider People Teams as required.
  • Ensure all pre-employment paperwork is in place
  • Ensure the onboarding process is completed in a timely manner in line with Service Level Agreements
  • Liaise with the People Coordinators once onboarding has completed to ensure new starters are added to the HRIS for payroll
  • Ensuring all employee data is processed accurately 
  • Support the HR Director with calendar management including booking meeting rooms and resources
  • Assist with employee related correspondence for the People Coordinators and overseeing/coordinating mail merges
  • Assist with the coordination and administration of the Driver Check process 
  • Assist with the coordination and administration of DBS checks
  • Support the People Partner and Hiring Managers with recruitment for the Corserv Support People Function including posting vacancies and arranging interviews
  • Collate off boarding/exit data from leavers and updating relevant matrices
  • Collating data for KPI’s 
  • Supporting and assisting in the delivery of the People Plan 
  • Supporting and assisting the HR Operations Team with projects including TUPE’s and restructures
  • Assisting and coordinating other people related projects and HR activity for the People Partner
  • Assisting the People Partner with the Learning Management System and related learning activity
  • Note taking for meetings and hearings as required
  • Maintain confidentiality of information acquired in the course of undertaking duties for the Company.
  • Assisting with updating and maintaining the company HRIS (Oracle)
  • Other duties as may reasonably be required, in line with the main duties of the role

 About you: 

 Qualifications & experience essential criteria: 

  • Educated to level 3 in CIPD/ business and administration or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience of working in a HR Team
  • Excellent understanding of HR, best practise and employment law
  • Detailed knowledge of computerised systems, including advanced Excel, Word, Outlook, Sharepoint, Teams and HR systems
  • Strong administrative skills
  • Well-developed people skills - especially communication and team working
  • Willingness to learn and try new things – with out of the box thinking and problem solving
  • Approachable and flexible
  • Experience and ability to work with confidential and sensitive information
  • Experience of prioritising workloads, being proactive and able to problem solve and meet deadlines

 

Qualifications & experience desirable criteria: 

  • Experience of Oracle HCM
