Salary: TA role – Grade D4-6 (dependent upon experience),   MDSA – Grade B2

Hours of work: Monday-Friday term time only
TA hours: 1pm to 3pm (10 hours per week) 
MDSA: 12pm-1pm (5 hours per week)   

Contract type: Fixed term contract until 22nd July 2026

All about the role:

A caring and enthusiastic teaching assistant, with a good sense of fun, who will support the class teacher and small groups of pupils in both KS1 and KS2. Previous experience supporting pupils with SEND preferred, but not essential.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Positive. Able to make learning fun and accessible to children.
  • Aware of the needs of primary age children.
  • Able to carry out numerous roles under the guidance of class teachers to ensure that all pupils are well supported and make at least good progress.
  • Confident in supporting groups of children in maths and English.
  • Willing to contribute fully to the life and ethos of the school.
  • Experienced working with children and flexible.
  • A team player with good communication skills.
  • Happy to develop their own skills and knowledge and contribute to the life of the school. 

We are also looking for an MDSA to help us cover lunchtimes in school.
