Contract Type: Fixed term until 16th July 2027
Salary Range: Grade 4, SCP 10-12, FTE salary £28,608.00 - £29,542.00, pro rata salary £23,908.94 - £24,689.53. Plus an additional payment of £1,800 per annum for intimate care.

Salary amounts quoted are from the 1 September to 31 August and therefore if you commence employment part way through the academic year they are subject to an equated salary adjustment

Working Type: Part Time (35 hours, 39 working weeks, 45.942 paid weeks)
Base: Red House Academy, Rutherglen Road, Sunderland, SR5 5LN

Red House Academy are seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant. The successful candidate will work as part of the academy/department to support interventions with students who require additional mentoring to achieve GCSE. They will work with other small groups and individual students across Key Stage 3 and 4 as required. They will promote the learning and welfare of students by providing practical and learning support to students, including those with special needs under the direction of a class teacher/SENCO. The successful candidate will be trained in intimate care and have key responsibilities for this.
