Turkish Interpreter - SEN Student Support

Make a Real Impact as a Turkish Interpreter.

We are currently looking for experienced Turkish Interpreters to join our database supporting tutors working with students who have Special Educational Needs (SEN). This role is vital in helping bridge communication between the student, tutor, and sometimes family members, ensuring that educational sessions are accessible and inclusive.

• Hours: Flexible
• Day(s): Monday - Friday
• Time(s): During school hours 

What You'll Do

• Provide accurate and sensitive Turkish–English interpretation and translation during tutoring sessions
• Support clear communication between the tutor and the student with SEN
• Adapt communication styles based on the individual learning needs of the student
• Respect confidentiality and uphold professional and safeguarding standards
  

We're looking for someone who has:

• Proficiency in Turkish and English (spoken and written)
• Experience working in educational or SEN settings is desirable
• Understanding of or willingness to learn about SEN-related communication strategies
• Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and cultural sensitivity
