Warehouse Operative (6 Month FTC) - Early shift

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative ( on a 6-month fixed term contract) to join our team at our Gateshead branch. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a hardworking and friendly team, supporting the smooth running of day-to-day warehouse operations.

Please note: Candidates must have their own transport or live locally due to the start time.

Key responsibilities 

• Support general day-to-day warehouse operations
• Preparing customer orders for delivery
• Managing stock inventory and performing stock checks
• Loading and unloading deliveries
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in line with health and safety guidelines 

Key skills

• Valid forklift licence (essential – counterbalance or reach)
• Ability to carry out manual handling duties
• Good understanding of Health and Safety regulations
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Previous warehouse experience is not essential, but is an advantage
