Night: 9:00 PM – 6:00 AM

PAY RATE: £12.60 per hour day/ £13.17 per hour night

As a Waste Operative, you will be instrumental in executing efficient waste management practices to ensure a clean, safe, and environmentally-friendly workplace for our clients and their employees. You will handle waste disposal, assist in recycling programs, and help maintain compliance with environmental standards.

• Collect, sort, and dispose of waste materials in accordance with company policies and local regulations
• Assist in the implementation of recycling and waste reduction initiatives
• Conduct regular inspections of waste disposal areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance
• Maintain accurate records related to waste collection and disposal
• Report any hazardous waste or safety concerns to the supervisor
• Provide excellent customer service to clients by addressing their waste management needs
• Participate in training programs to stay updated on waste management best practices and regulations

• Prior experience in waste management or related field is preferred
• Strong understanding of waste disposal regulations and recycling processes
• Ability to work independently and efficiently as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and colleagues
• Physically fit and capable of handling manual tasks including lifting and transporting waste
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• A valid driver's license may be required
