About
As a second – year college student, I bring many transferrable skills to satisfy the working environment such as critical thinking, efficiency in meeting deadlines and problem solving skills while devising appropriate solutions. I am motivated and confident in overcoming challenges. My academic journey has provided strong communication skills, particularly as Student Council and language ambassador for Urdu, where I helped my peers improve their fluency and boost their confidence. I also developed my public speaking skills through creating and presenting informative PowerPoints. Additionally, I value teamwork and I strongly believe that I am an effective listener, adapting to other’s input. My recent work experience at PwC allowed me to lead discussions, follow instructions and work under pressure with a positive mindset and a strong work ethic. I am dedicated to providing excellent customer service in an inclusive environment. I am fluent in Punjabi and Urdu meaning I am able to bridge language barriers and make customers feel valued. I possess a strong work ethic and am eager to contribute positively at Specsavers.
