Skills
firstly my Communication Skills , As a waiter, estate agent, and sales representative, i honed my ability to clearly communicate with customers, which is essential for a dealer to explain rules, manage interactions, and keep the game flowing smoothly.
secondly my Customer Service skills , All my previous jobs have involved direct customer interactions. Dealers must provide excellent service, ensuring players feel welcomed, valued, and entertained, similar to how i have ensured customer satisfaction in past roles.
Also the ability to Handling Pressure , Both waiting tables and sales roles can be fast-paced and stressful, much like a casino environment. The ability to remain calm and focused under pressure is crucial for a dealer, especially during high-stakes games or when dealing with difficult customers.
my Attention to Detail , As a sales representative and estate agent, I've had to be precise and detail-oriented. Dealers must accurately deal cards, handle chips, and monitor game outcomes while following strict rules and maintaining fairness.
Numeracy skills, my sales roles often required me to handle numbers, pricing, and transactions quickly and accurately—an essential skill for a dealer, who must keep track of bets and pay-outs during games.
lastly i would say my Problem-Solving skills, as In my previous positions, resolving customer issues and answering questions was key. As a dealer, you’ll need quick thinking to address disputes or game-related problems in a fair and timely manner.
These transferable skills make me a great candidate for a casino trainee dealer role!
