About

I am an enthusiastic soon to be 3rd year student who is very passionate about food, especially healthy cooking and bread making. I have previously worked in a supermarket as a cashier and have completed various courses on food safety (HACCP) and hygiene with diplomas to show for it. I am currently on the lookout for a customer focused role in a great team as I am missing the team player aspect in my current place of work. I thrive working independently but would love to be a part of a proper work-based family too. I am responsible, trustworthy and great with time management, things I have been praised for by my supervisors/bosses (hence key holder status). I value customer interactions and understand the importance of being customer focused. I have realised that for many, especially the elderly, the few minutes spent in a shop may be their only social interaction of the day. I therefore strive to make them as special as possible, ensuring they leave with a smile. Because of my previous jobs and own background, I have a lot of understanding for a diverse group of people, enabling me to read interactions and connect with others effectively.
All in all, I am a happy individual who is passionate about good food and am looking for a change where I can bring my valuable skills to a motivated team.
