● Numeracy skills such as handling cash at the registers and also learning how to check for
counterfeit notes.
● Good communication and customer service skills, such as speaking to customers in a
professional manner.
● Great teamwork skills, this job included a lot of tasks that needed to be completed by using
teamwork, such as informing the stockroom staff to bring out items for customers.
● Good attention to detail, working on the shop floor meant everything had to look good, even the
smallest things.
● Being able to adapt to changes, such as items getting moved on the shopfloor and sudden
changes in price for certain items.
About
have a qualification in Level 2 Construction ( painting, bricklaying and plastering ) at Leicester
Freemans college and I have 3 GCSES being Maths, English And Science. I consider myself to be
hardworking, trustworthy and reliable. I enjoy learning new skills and tasks, and I always try my best to
complete these to the best of my ability.
I adapt well to different environments, and I am always ready and willing to learn. I am keen to
receive any training that is offered to me, in order to give me the opportunity to develop new
transferable skills.
I would like to find a job within my neighbourhood, in order to enhance my career and expanded my
skill set. In the future I am looking forward to learning to drive and obtaining a driver's license. I enjoy
going on holiday and I have had the opportunity to travel to the caribbean where I was able to
experience a different way of life and living. I really enjoy traveling and in the future I would like to plan
more holidays. In my spare time I love going to the gym, in order to keep physically fit, and I also like
spending time with my friends and family.
