Playing chess has strengthened my focus, patience, and problem-solving—skills that help me stay sharp and handle tasks efficiently. Basketball has taught me teamwork, communication, and how to stay motivated, especially under pressure. Combined with my work experience, these skills make me confident in my ability to provide excellent service, work well with others, and contribute positively to the team at M&S.

I have previous experience working at both TK Maxx and McDonald’s, which helped me develop strong customer service skills and the ability to work in fast-paced, team-oriented environments. At TK Maxx, I gained experience in retail—helping customers, working on tills, and keeping the store organized. At McDonald’s, I learned how to stay calm under pressure, work efficiently during busy periods, and maintain high standards of hygiene and service. These roles taught me how to communicate clearly, work hard, and always put the customer first—qualities I’m excited to bring to a role at M&S.
