I worked a part time job at Pizza Hut for a year, my job contained multiple tasks and responsibilities:
. Managing back of the house – this is organising cleaned plates and sufficient stocks for the next day.
. Communicating with my team to provide information on which orders have been complete and pushing each other to hit targets.
. Covering for other workers role if their shift has ended.
. Performing regular checks in the fridge to see if there is enough stock.
. listening to the managers instructions.
. dealing with customers complaints and orders, then making their pizzas.
Working at the samworth brothers warehouse for over 6 months has also allowed me to gain teamwork skills as although there was heavy tasks set for individuals to do, I had to help out others who were struggling with there pick rate so our overall target was met. I have been on a virtual work experience LEBC’S and I have completed it which I received a certificate of. This helped me experience many career paths one of them which I have taken in consideration which is health and care as I would like to get further detail of peoples phycological and physical health. I have also managed to perform in the curve to get experience in theatre to work to help boost my confidence and elevate my communication skills. Further online work experience at the dental mentor medic family's dentistry work experience helped me gain the insight of life as a dentist. Working for Royal Mail as a delivery driver has allowed me to gain organisation skills, as it was up to me to decide which route would be the quickest and efficient for the customers.
