About
My name is Odekunle Victoria Taiwo, I am passionate about becoming a care assistant because I believe in the importance of providing compassionate support to those in need and people around me. My desire to help others has always been a driving force in my life and I find great fulfilment in making a positive impact in the lives of individual especially the young, elderly and vulnerable.
I took care of my grandmother in Nigeria for years before she passed away, she was always happy to have me around because I was the only6 one who knows how to take care of her the way she desires. I made her laugh, happy and comfortable. I also worked as a Nursery School Teacher and First Aider where I ensured the physical, emotional and intellectual development of children through educational activities, play and basic health monitoring. I possess relevant skills that makes me suitable for this role. My communication skills allow me to connect with people and their needs effectively. I am patient and empathetic which helps me provide emotional support and reassurance.
I have experience in teamwork and collaboration ensuring that I work harmoniously with colleagues to deliver the best care. I am also knowledgeable about basic health and safety practices and also the importance of maintaining dignity and respect for patients.
