We are seeking a Assistant Facilities Manager to ensure the safe, compliant, and high-quality delivery of facility services across a regional area.
Reporting to the Regional Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of onsite facility staff (Placemakers) and supervising contractor activity to ensure operational excellence.

Working collaboratively with the wider Placemaker teams, you will play a key role in enhancing the workplace experience for all building users.
You will lead by example, ensuring all services are delivered to a consistently high standard and in full compliance with health and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities
Support service delivery and identify opportunities for improvement across the contract.
Maintain a safe working environment and ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation.
Manage staff rotas to meet contractual requirements and cover absences effectively.
Oversee recruitment, training, and ongoing development of frontline teams.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, audits, and compliance records.
Ensure high standards of customer service and timely resolution of queries and complaints.
Control costs and drive revenue through efficient operations and additional service opportunities.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
Supervision experience within facilities or cleaning services.
Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently.
Clear understanding of service impact on contract success.
