The Role:
Our Short Term Bedded Services help Hampshire residents with timely discharges and admission avoidance, and provide community options, through strength based and person-centred assessment. As a qualified Occupational Therapist with a current HCPC registration, you’ll provide first-class occupational therapy support to older adults, helping them to get back on their feet and ready to go home.
What you'll do:
- Conduct initial assessments for new residents and deliver appropriate interventions, enabling you to see first-hand the impact of your support.
- Establish positive and supportive connections with residents, their families, and carers.
- Tailor your care planning to meet the unique needs of each resident, ensuring person-centred care.
- Build a network of internal and external colleagues, and work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to share expertise and seek advice, to ensure comprehensive care.

- Newly qualified or experienced Occupational Therapists.
- Communication skills: Clear and effective verbal and written communication with residents, families, and colleagues.
- Adaptability: Ability to work flexibly and respond to changing needs.
