Job Title: Social Worker – Learning Disabilities – Gateshead Council
Location: Gateshead
Pay Rate: £ 28 /per hour
Liquid Personnel is seeking an experienced Adult Social Worker to join our esteemed client’s Learning Disabilities Team. To be successful in this role, you must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a qualification in Social Work at degree level, and have post-qualified experience.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop personalised care plans for individuals with learning disabilities.
- Provide support and advocacy to ensure clients’ needs and rights are met.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
- Monitor and review care plans, adjusting as necessary to meet clients’ evolving needs.

What we are looking for in a Social Worker:
- SWE registration
- Eligible to work in the UK
- Hold a full UK license
- Post-qualified experience
- Degree level or equivalent in Social Work
