Exciting Opportunity as an Accounts Assistant at ProCook!
Are you detail-oriented and passionate about numbers? ProCook is seeking an organised and motivated Accounts Assistant to join our finance team and support the smooth operation of our accounts department.
Your Role:
As an Accounts Assistant, you will assist with various accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
This will be a part time role of 22.5 hours/week
Daily activities:
Processing Aspects
Processing of purchase ledger invoices, both stock and non-stock
Handling queries and communications from suppliers and colleagues
Setting up new/maintaining supplier accounts
Supporting implementation of new expenses and credit card processes
Reconciliation Aspects
Supplier Statement reconciliations
Reconciling the accounts payable ledger
Reconciling the accounts receivable ledger
Payment Aspects
Preparing the payment run
Processing payments – both stock and non-stock
Performing bank reconciliations
Your Profile:
- Experience in an accounts assistant or similar role is preferred.
- Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
