We have a great opportunity to join our Grounds Maintenance Team as a Cleansing Operative on a part-time (22.5 hours per week) basis.
We own and manage c.7,500 homes in the east of England, working closely with other agencies and stakeholders within our communities. We build on the good foundations we have in place in being a customer-centric organisation, investing in our existing homes - including our zero-carbon journey - as well as building new homes.

Please note, this is a part-time role of 22.5 hours per week, to be worked Mondays - Wednesdays between 8:00-16:00.
Outline of Key Responsibilities...
General Cleaning:
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, sweeping, pressure-washing in common areas and communal spaces
- Clean and sanitise surfaces
- Empty and clean waste bins regularly
- Clear rubbish from communal areas
Waste Maintenance:
- Clean and disinfect facilities, ensuring a high standard of hygiene
- Clear general waste in and around communal areas as needed
Floor Care:
- Maintain cleanliness in bin stores
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals for different floor types
Customer Service:
- Interact with residents and visitors in a polite and professional manner
- Respond to cleaning-related inquiries or requests from residents
We are looking for someone who has...
- Previous experience in a cleaning role
- Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and equipment
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail and a high standard of cleanliness
- Comfortable with lifting and carrying equipment
- Full UK driving licence
